"“The clowns visit was entertaining – lots of fun and laughter. There were many practical themes and messages for the audience. Many lessons were taught and learnt. I recommend that the show be viewed by as many schools as possible.” – Principal, Umhloti Primary School, KZN
Clowns Without Borders works to raise the social awareness of our society both domestically and internationally through educational tours consisting of publicity campaigns, performances, and presentations.
We also aim to connect communities together in a network of support and solidarity through sister school relationships and to generate support for our community partners.
Clowns Without Borders often visits schools, community centres, and organisations to raise awareness about our work. These visits help raise funds and awareness and are both educational and entertaining. Suitable for all ages, our visits are flexible and can meet the needs of any audience. Our artists combine physical comedy and storytelling to give the audience a visceral experience similar to our work in the field. They are generally 25 & 30 minutes long and are followed by a 20 min presentation about our work
