ABOUT

This Performance Tour happened in the urban slums of Johannesburg before the implementation of our Injabulo Family Project which ran from 22 October to 2 November. Nadia Woodward and Sibongile Tsoanyane spent 10 days in the field, working with guardians and children in Thokoza, Palmridge in a Tent opposite Chivrikani Primary School. The tent was situated at a fairly central point in the township. It was close to the main road and a few of our participants attended the school opposite. Our partner, J29 Community Care, run a food parcel programme and work closely with volunteers in the community.
